Registrars and Public Whois

I thought about simply posting screenshots to show you what you’ll see on the Whois page of various registrars, but this is an evolving situation. I’ve seen changes to Whois within the last 24 hours. What you can do is check a general Whois page, like Whois.com, DomainTools.com, etc. — and if part of the contact info you need isn’t there, check the Whois page of the registrar holding the name. There may be more information. For instance (for domains not owned by EU owners), Godaddy will show the full contact info only on their site. To send an email to a domain owner, including a domain registered by someone in the EU, Moniker has a contact form you can use if it’s registered with them. Go to: https://www.domain-contact.org
